Senior Project Lead Profile

We have the opportunity for an experience R&D project leader in the powders/pastes team to further build and foster collaboration across global R&D centres, working closely with portfolio manager, business development managers and marketing teams, fully aligned to deliver the strategic business objectives.

The candidate should:

Be capable of leading complex, major innovation, or strategic projects in the development of new innovative products, processes and solutions to meet the needs of customers through collaborative working and continuous improvement.

Maintains at all times the high level of quality of what we do and how we do it, as required by our customer through the business, being demanding of project teams to achieve difficult objectives, to deliver complex projects, to take on real challenges and to explore unknown domains.

Lead delivery of projects or activities, identifies and secures the required capabilities and resources and demonstrates a strong emphasis on customer centricity, on-time delivery, results focus, strong communication and stakeholder management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

•Master’s degree in science or engineering related subject with proven relevant industrial experience (chemist, material science)

•Preferably - Higher degree (PhD) in science or engineering related subject

•Fluent in English, verbal and written.

•Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver development projects, according to stage and gate principals, in a multi-functional and multi-cultural environment

•Demonstrated confidence in communicating the critical path of project activity to stakeholders

•Strong demonstrated competencies/knowledge in project management methodology, ideally 2-5 years’ experience, with a proven track record of on time project delivery and resilience to obstacles to deliver our customer solutions.

•Demonstrated confidence in communicating and influencing project teams, functional heads, and directors.

•Is passionate about creating and sharing of knowledge with the wider business to ensure effective learning is transferred
